  • Sean  Hanna

    Sean is the founding publisher of InvestmentWires. Prior to 1997, he was an editor at New York City-based IOMA (now a part of BNA) where he oversaw IOMA's DC Plan Investing, the first publication to exclusively cover the 401(k) industry in 1992. He has spoken at industry conferences as an expert on the financial services industry, made appearances on CNBC and been quoted in numerous financial publications, including Money Magazine and the Wall Street Journal. He studied history at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Sean is responsible for all content appearing on 401kWire.

  • Neil  Anderson

    Before joining InvestmentWires, Neil worked as a string reporter for Suburban News Publications in Columbus, Ohio, where he covered local schools and politics. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Williams College. While at Williams, he wrote for and edited the campus humor magazine, The Mad Cow, and he wrote for The Williams Record. Neil is primarily responsible for the day-to-day editorial oversight of 401kWire's sister publication, MFWire. He also covers new entrants to the DC I-O space.

    Madison is a senior Communication Studies major at Pace University, with a double minor in Journalism and History. She is a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College, works as a staff write for the Pace Press, and publishes as an editorial intern for YourTango. She is completing a senior thesis centralized in the topics of news consumption, media literacy, and partisan affiliation. Madison supports the 401kWire editorial and research team.

  • Katherine  Robertson

    Katherine is a rising senior at New York University majoring in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Her self-designed course is entitled “Evolution of Narrative” and consists of classes in journalism, media studies, literary analysis, and creative writing. This past year, she was a member of the editorial board for Gallatin’s Literacy Review magazine. Katherine supports the 401kWire editorial and research team.

  • Olivia  Gong

    Olivia is a senior at New York University majoring in Business with a Concentration in Finance at the Stern School of Business. Her minors are Public Health and Psychology. In her free time, she can be seen renting apartments in and around New York City, as well as working with the NYU Model United Nations Team. Olivia supports the 401kWire editorial and research team.

    Derick is a sophomore studying Finance at the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. He is a member of the Honors College as well as Dean's Business Scholar Program. In his free time, he can be seen roaming the streets of New York City and swimming on the beach. Derick supports the 401kWire editorial and research team.

    Andrew is a philosophy and sociology student at New York University working towards a career in writing and teaching. Before moving to New York, he lived in Clayton, North Carolina, and graduated from Cleveland High School. Andrew was a reporter at his school's daily newscast and a writing tutor when not onstage.
