  • Sean  Hanna

  • Editor-in-Chief
    Sean is the founding publisher of InvestmentWires. Prior to 1997, he was an editor at New York City-based IOMA (now a part of BNA) where he oversaw IOMA's DC Plan Investing, the first publication to exclusively cover the 401(k) industry in 1992. He has spoken at industry conferences as an expert on the financial services industry, made appearances on CNBC and been quoted in numerous financial publications, including Money Magazine and the Wall Street Journal. He studied history at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Sean is responsible for all content appearing on 401kWire.



  • Neil  Anderson

    Before joining InvestmentWires, Neil worked as a string reporter for Suburban News Publications in Columbus, Ohio, where he covered local schools and politics. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Williams College. While at Williams, he wrote for and edited the campus humor magazine, The Mad Cow, and he wrote for The Williams Record. Neil is primarily responsible for the day-to-day editorial oversight of 401kWire's sister publication, MFWire. He also covers new entrants to the DC I-O space.



  • Noah  Zuss

    Noah joined InvestmentWires in September 2016 after writing for New York City newspapers and contributing to several websites including The Street, City and State NY and The Fiscal Times. A native of Brooklyn New York, he graduated from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio in 2003 with a BA that focused on comparative politics, political science and economics. Noah covers the defined contribution retirement market for 401kWire.



  • Lande  Asiru

    Landé graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a double major in Film and Media Studies and Dance. During her schooling, Landé played the main character Aida in an opera displayed at the renowned Granada Theater in Santa Barbara, California. In addition, she used her creative ability to work as a cinematographer and moderator for the Pollock Theater, known for bringing in renowned celebrities and screenwriters. Lande covers 401(k) plan advisors (KPAs) for 401kWire.



  • Chelsea  Tyson

    Chelsea graduated from Regent University and joined InvestmentWires in 2016. Since high school, she has been pursuing a career in journalism. She believes that everyone has a story to tell and every experience has a lesson to be learned, and that has drawn and continues to draw her to become a reporter. In the past, Chelsea served as the editor-in-chief of her university's newspaper and wrote about startups and entrepreneurs as an intern for 1776, a D.C.-based startup incubator. Chelsea covers the defined contribution retirement market for 401kWire.

    Katy joined InvestmentWires in October 2016 from A.T. Kearney where she worked as a consultant specializing in the retail sector.     Ashley McHugh-Chiappone is a senior at New York University double majoring in journalism and politics. From her childhood, she's loved to write and majoring in journalism has enabled her to pursue her passion and explore many diverse fields.
